What if I do not have the required information?

If you do not have the minimum information required to conduct a search, the application will provide an error message and not allow the transaction until minimum data is provided.  See dob required.

Nearly one million records are contained in the Department of Justice criminal history database.  Allowing searches on only partial information would degrade system performance.  All partial searches would require manual intervention and  increase the time required to process legitimate manual interventions.  To alleviate these potential problems, this application was designed to require the same information required when criminal justice agencies request criminal histories, last, name, first name, sex, race, and date of birth.
