Criminal History from other States

Availability of criminal history information varies from state to state, dependant upon the laws of the individual state.  Some states release full information, some only conviction information and others still release no information.

To assist in obtaining criminal history information from outside the State of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Department of Justice maintains criminal history information on all states and the District of Columbia on our website.  This information may be accessed by going to  www.doj.state.wi.us/dles/cib/sclist.asp and selecting the state in which you need criminal information from.  This information is only as up-to-date as the information submitted by the individual states to Wisconsin.

The state criminal history contact list displays the state selection screen for criminal history information for the fifty state and the District of Columbia.
