Access Requirements

To obtain criminal record information via the internet, you must have the following:

• Access to the Internet

• The URL of our website http://wi-recordcheck.org

• A valid account number from the Record Check Unit; or

• A valid Master Card or Visa; and

• A PIN (Personal Identification Number) assigned by the Record check Unit

• For daycare background checks, you must have a valid daycare ID number from the Department of Health and Family Services

If you do not have an account, the form to request an account may be found on our forms page www.doj.state.wi.us/dles/cib/forms

Once you have all the above items, you are ready to logon.
